Transferring a domain name is simple. Before requesting a domain transfer you will have to do a number of things to prepare the domain.

.com, .net and .biz Domains

To transfer a .com, .net or .biz you will need to contact your current registrar and request the following:-

• The domain is unlocked
• The EPP code

Once both of these are done and you have the code, you can proceed with the transfer.

.co.uk Domains

To transfer a .co.uk domain you will need to contact your current registrar and request the following:-

• The domain is unlocked
• The IPS Tag is changed to 'NETEARTH'

Once both of these are completed, you can proceed with the transfer.
